Why gaming communities love it
- A Twitch or YouTube "going live" alert turns a scrim VOD or a member's stream into an automatic, on-brand server announcement.
- Connect the server's own Instagram account and new posts show up in a channel automatically — no one has to remember to cross-post.
- Generic inbound/outbound webhooks connect a tournament bracket tool, a Google Form, or an internal ops system without custom code.
- Every OAuth token is encrypted at rest and scoped to the minimum the feature needs — connect and disconnect anytime from the dashboard.
- On the Discord side, Twitch is alerts only. The Twitch chat bot, channel-point rewards and viewer currency are set up by the streamer at /creator, with just a Twitch sign-in.
- Disabled by default; each connector only activates once a server explicitly connects it.
